How to instantly stand out when Networking
It is important that you have a structure when you are introducing yourself. This is commonly known a the elevator pitch. It is about being able to articulate your message in either 10 sec or 30 secs. You need to speak to the emotional pain points of your target market, and then include at least 3 benefits that will solve the pain point. Always be ready for the question from your prospect of “Well tell me how you do that?”.
Be creative and invest time in knowing your targeted audience’s hot buttons / issues. The structure is there to help you as a guide – However you do need to be able to step outside of the structure sometimes. It is about reading and understanding and listening to the person that you are speaking to. Remember you need to understand before being understood.
